Sargeant Reynolds Community College this semester will fabricate over 500 pair of eyeglasses for Honduras residents. The Virginia Hospital Center will deliver the eyeglasses during its annual medical missionary trip in November of 2007. “This is an amazing real-life opportunity for our first year students, as they will be making eyewear for real patients. Sargeant Reynolds Community College Medical Laboratory Technology program has been chosen as one of only 16 programs in the country to receive an AxSYM analyzer through the Labs Are Vital ™ program sponsored by Abbott Diagnostics.
