ARA 101 Beginning Arabic I ( 4 cr.)

Introduces understanding, speaking, reading, and writing skills and emphasizes basic Arabic sentence structure. Discusses the diversity of cultures, as well as the arts and literature in the Arab world. Prerequisite: Students must be functionally fluent in English. Part I of II. Lecture 4 hours per week.

 

ARA 102 Beginning Arabic II ( 4 cr.)

Introduces understanding, speaking, reading, and writing skills and emphasizes basic Arabic sentence structure. Discusses the diversity of cultures, as well as the arts and literature in the Arab world. Prerequisite: Students must be functionally fluent in English. Part II of II. Lecture 4 hours per week.

 

ARA 201 Intermediate Arabic I (3 cr.)

Continues to develop understanding, speaking, reading, and writing skills and emphasizes basic Arabic sentence structure.  Discusses the diversity of cultures in the Arab world. Classes are conducted in Arabic.  Prerequisite: ARA 102. Lecture 3 hours per week.
