Malcolm is the Director of Marketing and Public Relations. He has worked at the college
since 1993. Prior to coming to Reynolds, he worked in a creative capacity with
Bank of America predecessor NationsBank. He holds a B.S. in Mass Communications
from Virginia Commonwealth University with a concentration in Advertising and
an M.A. in Media and Communications from Norfolk State University with a concentration
in Public Relations. He manages a college-wide integrated marketing program which
includes media relations, advertising, graphic services, printing, publications,
event planning and web development.

Carolyn Conlon

Carolyn Conlon came to
Reynolds in 2007 as a public relations coordinator. Carolyn’s
background is in economic development and healthcare marketing
and public relations. Prior to Reynolds, Carolyn worked
as a public relations practitioner for the Virginia Department
of Business Assistance. However, her career began as a
beat reporter in Red Bank, New Jersey. She has a B.A. in
Communications from Monmouth University. Carolyn handles
media relations, internal communications, web content,
and publications management for the College.

Steve
Vehorn
Public Relations Coordinator

Steve arrived at the college in June of 2005 after working in
public relations at Special Olympics Virginia and the Colonial
Athletic Association. He holds a B.S. in Mass Communications
from East Tennessee State University and served in the U.S. Army
after graduating from the ETSU ROTC program. Steve currently
assists in all media relations functions to include press releases,
advertising, graphic services, printing, and construction of
the College’s catalog. He and his wife Jill have two boys,
Sam and Kip. |
