Alice in Wonderland to Reynolds for 1 Night Only!

Alice in Wonderland is an 1865 fantasy novel written by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson under the name Lewis Carroll. It tells of a girl named Alice falling through a rabbit hole into a fantasy world populated by peculiar creatures. Alice in Wonderland will be performed by the National Players at the Parham Rd Massey Library Technology Center Auditorium on November 30 at 6:30 p.m.  This show is FREE and open to the community!  Doors open at 6:00 p.m. 


 

Bowling Tournament (High Score Challenge)

Join the Office of Student Life in this 2-hour 10-pin challenge on Friday, December 1 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Participants submit their scores to compete for the night’s highest overall team score! Bowling Night will be held at AMF Shrader Lanes located at 8037 Shrader Road, Richmond, VA 23294. Register as an individual or team by Wednesday, November 29 to play! Learn more and register as an individual and/or team in the Student Life Office.


 

Nutzy’s Funn Run 
Last Day to Sign Up is Wednesday, November 30

Join your fellow Reynolds’s students, faculty and staff on December 2 for the 6th annual Nutzy’s Funn Run. The 5k race benefits local children's charities: Junior Achievement of Central Virginia and The Flying Squirrels Charities. The race begins at 12:00 p.m. at Mosely Architects in Scotts Addition.

Reynolds will be sponsoring students, faculty and staff to participate in the event so the race is on to sign up! Each individual can even bring a guest! Just sign up and we will do the rest of the work! You can’t beat a free Funn Run!

Free Yoga Classes!

**Please note there will not be yoga classes offered during Thanksgiving week (November 20)

Come for relaxation, exercise or to get a good stretch! This class is perfect for beginners or those looking to deepen their yoga practice. This free, non-credit, fitness class is open to faculty, staff and students! It will take place Mondays from 11:30 am -12:30 pm on the Downtown Campus in room B109 and Wednesdays from 11:30 am-12:30 pm on the Parham Rd Campus in Georgiadis Hall room B010 in the fitness room. 


 

Hip Hop Fusion Dance Class

**Please note there will not be hip hop classes offered during Thanksgiving week (November 20)

Hip Hop Fusion is a 60 minute cardio dance fitness class that uses choreography as the base of the workout. Routines are set to hip hop, pop and R&B. This is a perfect class to have fun and get a little exercise in! This free, non-credit, fitness class is open to faculty, staff and students! It will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning September 19th from 2:30-3:30 pm on the Downtown Campus in room B109.


 

Spectrum LGBT Club Coffee Breaks (History LGBTQ) Participate! Educate! Communicate!

Spectrum at Reynolds Community College is a club that is open to all students. Its purpose is to create a safe and hospitable learning environment for everyone regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. The club is a social, educational, and advocacy group open to anyone who identifies as GLBTQ or Ally. We are holding coffee breaks every other from11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Their next coffee break will be November 29 and the discussion topic will be History LGBTQ. This event is open to students, staff, faculty and guest.
