ARA 101-102 Beginning Arabic I-II ( 4 cr.) ( 4 cr.) Introduces understanding, speaking, reading, and writing skills and emphasizes basic Arabic sentence structure. Discusses the diversity of cultures, as well as the arts and literature in the Arab world. Lecture 4 hours per week.
ARA 201-202 Intermediate Arabic I-II (3 cr.) (3 cr.) Continues to develop understanding, speaking, reading, and writing skills and emphasizes basic Arabic sentence structure. Discusses the diversity of cultures in the Arab world. Classes are conducted in Arabic. Prerequisite: ARA 102. Lecture 3 hours per week.
