Electronics and Manufacturing Technology Fundamentals

Purpose: This program is designed to provide basic skill development and competence for students seeking a career in manufacturing.

 

Occupational Objectives: Students completing this program will have basic skills for an entry-level job in electronics and general manufacturing with emphasis on semiconductor manufacturing.

 

Admission Requirements: General college curricular admission

 

Program Notes: In addition to general college admission, each applicant will have: (a) completed placement testing and (b) met with his or her advisor to establish a planned course of study prior to being allowed to register for courses. Proficiency in Algebra I is required for this program, and students not meeting this requirement must take MTH 03 or an equivalent course.

 

Students interested in proceeding beyond the career studies certificate should consult with an advisor or counselor early in the program.
