Purpose: This program is designed to provide a foundation of current telecommunications information for students seeking full-time employment or for those currently employed and desiring to improve their skills and knowledge in this area. The program provides course work to allow specialization in voice or data telecommunications while emphasizing the integration of both.

 

Occupational Objectives: Opportunities in telecommunications exist in corporations that sell long distance services, telecommunications consulting firms, law firms, and government agencies.

 

Admission Requirements: General college curricular admission

 

Program Notes: Students must attain the grade of "C" or higher in IT courses taken for this certificate.
