Vehicle Control Systems

ASE Certified National Science Foundation (NSF) created an Advanced Technical Education program to enable career and technical education colleges such as Reynolds Community College to offer high-tech and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) related technician education. For Reynolds and its students this translates to courses supporting new electronic control systems installed in modern vehicles such as automatic braking and steering, self-parking and parking assist, lane departure warning systems and autonomous controls.

Reynolds was awarded a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) (grant #1104190) to develop these new vehicle control system courses.
