Schedule of Classes
Innovative scheduling permits students to attend classes while balancing employment and personal responsibilities. Students are invited to attend classes at any of our campuses to enjoy the most numerous scheduling options. Most classes can be attended one day per week and several classes can be taken via distance learning.

A full academic partnership with the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Lodging Association is maintained, and endorsement by this preeminent industry professional association qualifies graduates for some of the most desirable positions in the lodging industry. Students who graduate from the Lodging Operations Specialization of the Associate Degree program will simultaneously be awarded the Hospitality Management Diploma from the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
Hospitality Leadership Career Studies Certificate
The Hospitality Leadership program yields multiple awards. Students who complete this program earn the Human Resources Management Certificate of Specialization from the Educational Institute (EI) of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA), in addition to the Hospitality Leadership Career Studies Certificate from Reynolds.

Additionally, students who complete this program are eligible to enter the EI Certified Hospitality Supervisor (CHS) program and sit for the EI Certified Hospitality Supervisor (CHS) Examination. Acceptance into the CHS program allows six months from successful completion of the CHS examination to secure full-time employment as a qualifying supervisor in the hospitality industry and to have held one or more such positions for a minimum of three months. A qualifying supervisor is a person who supervises two or more individuals; has job duties that are at least 20 percent supervisory in natureand include such tasks as scheduling, training, interviewing, disciplining, inspecting, and conducting performance reviews; makes decisions and judgment calls while performing daily duties; and has input on hiring and firing decisions within a department. Once the EI verifies this experience through a letter from a candidate's employer(s), the individual will be awarded the CHS designation.
Hotel Rooms Division Management Career Studies Certificate
The Hotel Rooms Division Management program yields multiple awards. Students who complete this program earn the Rooms Division Management Certificate of Specialization from the Educational Institute (EI) of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA), in addition to the Hotel Rooms Division Management Career Studies Certificate from Reynolds.

Additionally, students who complete this program are eligible to enter the EI Certified Rooms Division Executive (CRDE) program and sit for the EI Certified Rooms Division Executive (CRDE) Examination. Plan C Eligibility for CRDE Certification may be obtained by a combination of experience in a qualifying rooms division management position and completion of the EI Rooms Division Management Certificate of Specialization.
ServSafe Food Protection Manager
Certification Exam Proctoring
This course is intended to enable a functional knowledge of food protection and risk management through HACCP. Upon successful completion of the ServSafe® examination, examinees receive a ServSafe® certificate from the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. Companies and health departments throughout the state require this course, which is recognized and accepted by more federal, state and local jurisdictions than any other food safety training program.

ServSafe Food Safety Certification Test
Proctoring (Course# HOST 2020).
This is a proctored test session for individuals who have prepared for the ServSafe® Food Safety Certification Examination, either by completing the online ServSafe® curriculum, or through other approved means. Proctored testing is conducted at the Downtown Campus of Reynolds Community College during the last week of every month. Registration in this course covers all testing fees, including the ServSafe®
Mid-Atlantic Beverage Institute
Underpinning knowledge is offered through our Fundamentals of Wine course, which is open to all learners. The Institute also supports continuing education of industry professionals through specialized beverage instruction. Expert faculty have developed a series of seminars and workshops to enable world-class understanding of wine culture, wine commerce and beverage marketing.
