Academic Computing Support
J. Sargeant Reynolds has Academic Computing Centers (formally known as Open Labs) at the Parham Road Campus in Massey 137, Downtown Campus Room 462, and Western Campus in the LRC. These centers are open to all currently enrolled students, with a valid student ID, for completion of college coursework and Internet Research.
All Academic Computing Centers are governed by the following policies:

K: Drive:
The K: Drive is available to access your course data files from home go to ftp://164.106.79.2 Please make sure your browser has "Enable Folder View for FTP Sites" checked (this setting is located in Internet Options, Advanced, Browsing).
Office 2007:
If you have earlier versions of office at home click here to download the Microsoft Office 2007 Compatibility Pack. This will allow you to open and edit 2007 files at home (not all formats and functions will be available with earlier versions).
Printing:
Check your PowerPoint presentations before printing. Make sure it is set to "Handouts" - 6 per page and Grayscale""
Instructors:
If you are an instructor who is not using a computer classroom for your regular class meeting and would like to reserve a computer classroom for an individual day of instruction please contact the Campus Computer Lab Technician to reserve a computer classroom. Reservations may start after add/drop to verify availability of computer classrooms.
