Through the JSRCC Educational Foundation, your gifts will provide the financial resources necessary to address our community’s need for an educated and skilled workforce.

Reynolds is positioned to provide leadership, forge partnerships, and create programmatic solutions to community challenges that face Greater Richmond today. But we need your help. Through accessible education and comprehensive workforce training at the College, broad societal issues can be addressed in very specific ways — challenges like the City of Richmond high school drop-out crisis, unsafe neighborhoods, and workforce shortages.

One of our most pressing needs in Virginia is to make room for 40,000 additional college students projected to enter the community college system by 2012. To do this, we need partners and friends to help provide the financial resources necessary to address our community’s need for an educated and skilled workforce. We want to ensure that no student is left behind. With your help, we will:

Remove barriers to a college education for all citizens through increasing scholarships and access to technology

Raise the standard of living for citizens in our community through expanding our Middle College program and preparing all students for jobs that pay well

Provide trained workers for Greater Richmond through addressing critical workforce shortages in healthcare, education, and service industries
