Methods of Tuition Payment

In Person

Pay your tuition in person at any campus Business Office during regular office hours and registration hours. You may pay in person with cash, check, money order or accepted credit cards (VISA, MasterCard & Discover). If anticipated Financial Aid is shown for the particular semester and sufficient to cover your tuition and fee balance in full, no action is required. Classes will be held as long as the account balance does not exceed the anticipated aid for that particular semester. Account balances that occur from a shortage of semester-anticipated financial aid must be paid in full by Reynolds payment deadlines.


You may pay online with a Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit card, eCheck from a checking or savings account. Online payment is processed using QuikPay. See QuikPay instructions.

Payment by Third Party (Scholarships, Employers, and Savings Plans)

Requirement for all third party sponsorships: students who anticipate an employer or other third-party sponsor, including external scholarships, to be responsible for tuition expenses should contact the Central Business Office prior to registration to determine documents required of the sponsor. Once registered, students must contact a campus Business Office each semester they wish to utilize their external sponsorship and have their tuition and fees charged to their participating sponsor, which includes tuition and fee charges that should be paid from the Virginia College Savings Plan program or a student’s private scholarship account currently on file at Reynolds. Students utilizing Virginia College Savings Plan and Bon Secours will have their accounts automatically flagged to hold classes once Reynolds receives authorization from the providers.

All students whose sponsorship letters do not authorize payment for the entire cost of tuition and fees, are responsible for and must pay any and all balances prior to Reynolds payment deadlines before the sponsorship is applied against the student account. Failure to remit payment in a timely manner may result in the removal of enrollment of any and/or all courses. Contact the Business Office at (804) 523-5186 with any questions.

Payment Plan

To help meet students’ educational expenses, Reynolds provides access to the TMS Payment Plan. TMS is an outside company that offers the payment plan to students at Reynolds.

For a non-refundable TMS enrollment fee, students may pay tuition in defined monthly installments to TMS. There is no credit check to participate in the payment plan. Payments are made automatically from the bank account (checking or savings) or credit card you specify. There is an additional fee assessed for using a credit card. Students should understand their responsibilities for participation in the payment plan. Learn more about how to access the Payment Plan option.
