Reynolds Common Scholarship Application

2016 General Scholarship Application Deadline April 15th

The J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College  Educational Foundation is excited to offer students the convenience of an online scholarship application.  We have partnered with Community Force to present, manage and award scholarships. Students can now apply, submit, and even accept scholarship offers; all online.  To apply visit:

 Reynolds Scholarship Applications will be accepted between January and April 15th each year.


Before Applying For Reynolds Scholarships

Applicants should have already completed the Reynolds Community College application for admissions and have a Student/Empl id number.   You will also need your college issued e-mail address to create an account  and complete the general scholarship application on the Community Force site.  This e-mail is the Scholarship Office’s primary method of contacting you throughout the scholarship application and selection process. It is important that you know this e-mail and check it consistently.  For help with logging on to the MyReynolds student portal visit the Technology Support page on the Reynolds website. 



Scholarship Application Help Sessions

Thinking about applying for Reynolds scholarships?  Maybe you've started an application and don't know what to do next?   Attend an open lab session!

In these sessions, attendees will get an overview of the new online system being used to submit the 2016-17 Reynolds general scholarship application.  During the session applicants can start or complete the online application. Attendees will have guidance, personal assistance and an opportunity to ask questions about using the scholarship application system.  Classrooms will be equipped with computers but you can also bring your laptop.  Tablets are not recommended. Once registered you can come any time during the session start and end time.  Scholarship Office staff will be available to assist applicants one on one or in small groups.
