Clad in Reynolds t-shirts and sneakers laced, the team included staff, faculty, spouses, and even one granddaughter; Jackie Epps brought her little one along to participate in the one-mile Fun Run.

Reynolds 12-week and 2nd 4-week classes start September 23
RICHMOND, Va. (September 17, 2014) – Classes start September 23 for Reynolds Community College’s 12-week and 2nd 4-week fall semester sessions. Registration for both sessions is currently open and runs through the start of classes. Students can register 24 hours per day online by visiting www.reynolds.edu. Students can also register in-person in the Student Success Centers located on each campus.

Reynolds Community College to host emergency response exercise with active shooter scenario on Downtown Campus
Richmond, VA (August 7, 2014) - Reynolds Community College and its regional partners will conduct an emergency response exercise on Saturday, August 9 on the college’s Downtown Campus located at 700 East Jackson Street in Richmond. The exercise involves a report of gunfire and will test the multi-jurisdictional coordination and response needed to mitigate a major incident on the college’s campus.

Reynolds faculty member named to Governor’s Climate Change Commission
Richmond, Va. (July 29, 2014) – Richard S. Groover, Assistant Dean of the School of Mathematics, Science and Engineering at Reynolds Community College was recently appointed by Governor Terry McAuliffe to serve on the Governor’s Climate Change and Resiliency Update Commission. Groover is also a Fellow of the Virginia Academy of Science and a doctoral candidate for a PhD in Environmental Science and Policy from George Mason University.
