Virginia’s Community College Students Make Annual Pilgrimage to State Capital
“Every Day is Community College Day” is in full-swing at the General Assembly. Students from the nearly two dozen community colleges scattered around Virginia descend on the state capital two and sometimes three days a week to get acquainted with the legislative process and share their personal experiences with lawmakers who represent their colleges’ voting districts.
Despite the cool temperatures and cold rain that greeted students today, Reynolds Community College sends a warm welcome to all new and returning students along with best wishes for a very happy and successful spring semester.
