Reynolds Student Khalil Named 2017 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise


Richmond, VA (November 1, 2017) Reynolds Community College student Khodr Khalil has been named a 2017 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholar and will receive a $1,000 scholarship. He is one of 207 Phi Theta Kappa members nationally to earn the distinguished honor.

Reynolds to host book discussion on “In the Country We Love: My Family Divided"

Richmond, Va. (September 19, 2017) –  Reynolds Community College will host an “Around the World Through Books” discussion on Thursday, September 28, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Massey Library and Technology Center Lipman Auditorium located at 1651 E. Parham Road in Richmond. This event is free and open to the public. Attendees are asked to bring canned food for the Central Virginia Food Bank.

Reynolds Police Department Re-accredited by Law Enforcement Commission

RICHMOND, Va. (August 18, 2017) – TheReynolds Community College Police Department has achieved re-accreditation by the Virginia Law Enforcement Professional Standards Commission (VLEPSC) for its commitment to law enforcement excellence and recent successful completion of the re-certification process for the Virginia Law Enforcement Accreditation Program.

Reynolds hosting The 4 Seasons Art Exhibit

Richmond, Va. (May 23, 2017) –  The Conference Center Gallery in the Workforce Development and Conference Center on the Reynolds Community College’s Parham Road Campus will open its doors on Tuesday, May 30 to showcase Kimberly Henley Miller’s art collection The 4 Seasons. The exhibition includes over 34 pieces and will be on display through August 3.

Richmond, Va. (May 10, 2017) –  Reynolds Community College will host Preview Day on Saturday, May 20 from 9 a.m. to noon on the college’s Downtown Campus located at 700 East Jackson Street in Richmond.

Community College Workforce Alliance Names New Vice President

RICHMOND, Va. (May 4, 2017) – The Community College Workforce Alliance (CCWA) announced this week that Mary Elizabeth Creamer has been named as Vice President of Workforce Development and Credential Attainment. The announcement concludes a six-month national search with 231 candidates.

Reynolds hosting Student Art Show

Richmond, Va. (April 16, 2017) –  The Conference Center Gallery in the Workforce Development and Conference Center on J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College’s Parham Road Campus will open its doors on Friday, April 14 to the public for the annual Student Art Show. The exhibition includes over 50 pieces and will be on display through May 3.

Richard S. Reynolds Foundation gives $500,000 for Reynolds Honors Program

Richmond, VA (March 8, 2017) - To “encourage excellence and innovative thinking in the next generation of leaders in our community,” Richard S. (Major) Reynolds yesterday announced a gift of $500,000 to help students in Reynolds Community College’s Honors Program pay for school and participate in experiential learning and service opportunities outside of the classroom.

2nd 8-week and 3rd 4-week spring semester sessions. Registration for both sessions is currently open and runs through the start of classes. Students can register 24 hours per day online by visiting www.reynolds.edu. Students can also register in-person in Enrollment Services located on each campus.
